We have plans you can choose from, or we can assist you with the development of a custom home plan. (If you choose one of our plans we will work with you to make any of the small changes that will make it best fit your needs.)

We have a full team of suppliers who will help you with product selections and any special requests. These suppliers will know your allowances and will help you make choices that work within them, or help you with any desired upgrades. They work in cooperation with you and the Hoyt Homes team to make the selection process a smooth, seamless part of your home construction.

Helping you establish a budget you can live with.

Of course the site you choose will have an impact on the cost of your new home. After the site has been chosen, we can help you work within your target budget for the construction phase of your home. We will work with you to plan a home that will meet your needs regarding square footage, style, and product selections. We will work with you to prioritize your wish list of product selections to meet your budget and to create your unique and special home.

Helping you live with your new home.

Hoyt Homes, Inc. provides a one year limited warranty for all new homes. We also go a step further and provide a full homeowner’s book. This book contains a contact list for all the suppliers who worked on your home, all the community numbers you will need to set up services to your new home, and a detailed section on the care of your new home. This section defines what items you as the homeowner will need to maintain to keep your home in great condition, and what items would require a warranty call to our office. We will be there for you as you settle into your new home and for years to come.

After practicing architecture for almost 30 years, I finally had the opportunity to design and build a home for myself. With providing architectural services for primarily residential design and working the whole time in Missoula, I of course had a large number of contractor clients, and invited their interest in building my new home.

Wade Hoyt of Hoyt Homes was the low bidder among a number of contractors who responded to my solicitation, thus demonstrating his ability to be a cost effective builder. While some may believe that building with the low bidder becomes an exercise in contending with the contractor over change order extra costs, on the contrary, my experience with Wade was simply wonderful.

I found ourselves working together to resolve questions as they arose, discussing with Wade, his subcontractors and suppliers alternate design selections, improved methods of construction and better product choices. He and his crew helped this long time architect improve the final product in ways that I would not have anticipated.

Wade kept me appraised of the project’s schedule and budget (which we kept), providing sufficient notice to me regarding the need to finalize materials and design choices so that the project wouldn’t be delayed, or suffer any cost increases.

I was particularly grateful for the professionalism and skills of his subcontractors, especially those that have so much impact on the finished product. These would include his framers, painters, trim carpenters, cabinet installers, and tile setters. These tradesman showed an exemplary level of skill and thoroughness.

I highly recommend Hoyt Homes to anyone considering building a new home or remodeling. They will be rewarded with a level of thoroughness and professionalism that will meet the highest standards of the construction industry.
